3 A Quitclaim deed dated the 2nd day of September, 1940,
4 from the Balboa Beach Amusement Company, a corporation, to the
5 City of Newport Beach, a Municipal corporation of the sixth class
6 of Orange County, California, remising, releasing and quitclaiming
7 to the City of Newport Beach, all that certain real property
8 situated in the city of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State
9 of California, and more particularly described as follows:

All that portion of Block "D ", as shown upon a
map of Balboa Tract, recorded in Book 4, page
11
11 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California, lying northwesterly of the
12
southwesterly prolongation of the southeasterly
line of Lot 11, Block 10 of saldBalboa Tract.

Also: -

All that portion of Block "B ", as shown upon a
15
map of Balboa Tract, recorded in Book 4, page
11 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California, lying southeasterly of the
16
southwesterly prolongation of the northwesterly
line of Lot 15, Block 6 of said Balboa Tract.

18 was presented to the City Council of the city of Newport Beach,
19 California.
20 WHEREUPON, Councilman � � �; r``e made a
21 motion, duly seconded by Councilman ck ri and
22 carried, that said Quitclaim Deed be accepted by the City Council
23 of the city of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk be instructed to
24 record the same forthwith with the County Recorder of Orange Count;
25 California.
26 That saidmotion was carried by the following vote,
