A Quitclaim Deed dated the 2nd day of September, 1940,
from the BalboaBeach Amusement Company, a corporation, to the
City of Newport Beach, a Municipal corporation of the sixth class
of Orange County, California, remising, releasing and quitclaim-
ing to the city of Newport Beach all that certain real property
situated in the city of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State
of California, and more particularly described as follows:
All tide lands lying between the southwesterly line
of Block "C" of the Balboa Tract as laid out and shown upon
a map thereof, recorded in Book 4, page 11 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California, and a line
parallel to and 150 feet measured normal thereto southwesterly
of the southwesterly line of Surf Avenue, as Surf Avenue is
laid out and shown upon said map of the Balboa Tract and
between the southwesterly prolongation of the southeasterly
line of Palm Street and the southwesterly prolongation of the
Northwesterly line of Washington Street, as said Palm Street
and Washington Street are laid out and shown upon said Map
of Balboa Tract; also all tide lands lying between the
Southwesterly line of Black "B" of said Balboa Tract, and a
line parallel to and 150 feet measured normal thereto,
Southwesterly of the southwesterly line of said Surf Avenue,
as Surf Avenue is laid out and shown upon said Map of the
Balboa Tract, and lying between the southwesterly prolongation
of the northwesterly line of Lot 15 of Block 6 of said Balboa
Tract and Northwesterly line of Palm Street, as Palm Street
is laid out and shown upon said map of the Balboa Tract.

California.
WHEREUPON, Councilman made a
motion, duly seconded b•T Councilman �1`e r and
carried,. that said Quitclaim Deed be accepted by the City Council
of the city of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk be instructed
to record the same forthwith with the County Recorder of
Orange County, California.
