it appearing by the account of J. A. Gant,

city of Newport Beach, that all that certain

NOW, TBEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City
Auditor and Tax Collector of the city of Newport Beach be, and
they are hereby authorized, directed and instructed to cancel
all of said taxes on the real property herein mentioned, on the
assessment rolls of the city of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the move and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the
City Council of the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 2nd day of September, 1940, by the following
vote, to -wit:

I hereby approved of the within and foregoing form,
and consent to the cancellation of said taxes.

I hereby certify and declare that the title to the
within and foregoing real property is now in the city of Newport
Beach, and the fee title thereof is now vwsted in the city of
Newport Beach.
