A Quitclaim deed
dated the 18th day of September, 1940,

from the Griffith Company,
a corporation, to the city of Newport

Beach, a Municipal corporation of the sixth class, remising,

releasing and quitclaiming
to the city of Newport Beach all that

certain real property situated in the city of Newport Beach,
7
County of Orange, State of
California, and more particularly
8
described as follows:

All of Block "C"
as shown upon a map of Balboa

Tract, recorded
in Book 4, page 11 of Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of
Orange County, California,

12 was presented to the city Council of the city of Newpm t Beach,
13 California.
14 WHEREUPON, Councilman kGV made
15 a motion, duly seconded by Councilman ()\��ejj and
16 carried, that said Quitclaim Deed be accepted by said city, and
17 that the City Clerk be instructed to record the same forthwith wi
18 the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
19 That said motion was carried by the following note,
