municipal corporation of the sixth class of the State of
California, granting to Peryl Magill and Julia Magill, both
single, as point tenants, all that certain real property situated
in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of
California, and more particularly described as follows, to —wit:
That portion of Lot 10 in Block 730 of
Corona Del Mar, as per map recorded in Book 3, pages
41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps,Records of said Orange
County, and that portion of the Southwesterly * of the
vacated alley adjoining said Lot 10 on the Northeast,
lying Northwesterly of the Southwesterly prolongation
of the Southeasterly line of Lot 1 in Block "B" of
Tract No. 470, as per map recorded in Book 17, page 28
of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said County.
EXCEPTING therefrom the Southwesterly 14 feet
of said portion of Lot 10.
Subject to reservations and restrictions of record,
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the b4st interests of said City that said
property be /granted to said Grantee upon the terms and conditions
therein sht forth, and other valuable considerations, including
the widening of Highway No. 101 through that portion of the City
of Newport Beach known as Corona Del Mar, and the payment of
existing bonds on said property by the Department of Public Works,
Division of Highways, District VII.
NV, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said Grant Deed
in the name of and on behalf of the city of Newport Beach, and tha
the City Clerk deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the Grantee
therein named.
