RESOLUTION NO
WHEREAS, C. LLOYD MUNSON and MARY E. MUNSON, husband
and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the
sum of $225.00 for Lot 15, Block 329, Lancaster Addition in the
City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, page
14 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;and
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beac
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
property be sold for the said sum of $225.00; and
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
above described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property
15 bDa sold to the said C. Lloyd Munson and Mary E. Munson, husband
16 and wife, for the sum of $225.00, free and clear of all encumbranc 61.
17 subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1940 -41 and unpaid impro-
18 vement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions, restric -
19 ions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are
20 lihereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a deed for
21 Ilsaid property to the said parties upon receipt of the considerati
22 above set forth.
23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $22.50 be
24 aid to Ralph Maskey as and for his commission for the negotiating
25 f the sale of said real property to C. Lloyd Munson and Mary E.
26 unson, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
27 jreasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
28 sing a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach
29 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
30 esolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
31 ouncil of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meetin# thereof
