2 WHEREAS, HAMASI CORPORATION has this day offered to
40 3 the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH the sum of $150.00 for Lot 17, Block
4 241, Corona del Mar, in the city of Newport Beach, as shown on
5 a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps,
6 records of Orange County, California; and
7 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
8 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
9 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
10 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
11 property be sold for the said sum of $150.00; and
12 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
13 Hand is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
14 above described.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That'said property be
16 sold to the said Hamasi Corporation, for the sum of $150.00, free
17 and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal]
18 year 1940 -41 and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also
19 subject , -to;:oonditions,.res -trictions and reservations of record.
20 The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
21 to execute and deliver a deed for said property to the said party

upon receipt
of
the consideration
above
set
forth.

FURTHER RESOLVED:
That
the
sum of
$15.00 be
24 paid to Frank L. Andrews, as and for his commission for the
25 negotiating of the sale of said real 7 operty to Hamasi Corporat
26 said sum being a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in
27 said sale, and said broker being a licensed realtor of the City
28 of Newport Beach
40 29 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resoluti
30 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council
31 of the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held
