WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain Conditional Sale
Contracts dated November 18th, 1940, by and between Theodore Robins
as Seller, and the City of Newport Beach as Purchaser; and
WHEREAS, said Conditional Sale Contract provides that
the Seller sells to the Purchaser one new Ford Deluxe Sedan,
Model 11A, upon the following terms: 1936 Ford Sedan traded in
at $200.00, and three monthly payments of $287.31, payable as
follows: December 3rd, 1940, January 3rd, 1941 and February 3rd,
1941; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said
automobile be purchased upon the terms and conditions and for the
consideration above stated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the city of Newport Beach be and they are hereby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said Conditional
Sale Contract in the name of and on behalf of the city of Newport
Beach, and that the City Clerk deliver a duly executed copy there
to the Seller therein named.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly and
regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the city of
Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the
18th day of November, 1940, by the following vote, to -wit:
