HomeMy WebLinkAbout2105 - Sale of Property to Rexford & Joan BrandtI RESOLUTION NO.�J_ 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be 17 sold to the said Rexford Brandt and Joan Irving Brandt, husband and 18 wife, for the sum of $250.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, 19 1 subject to the second half of the taxes for the fiscal year 1940- 20 41, and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also subject to 21 conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor 22 and the City Clerk axe hereby authorized and directed to execute 23 and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon 24 receipt of the consideration above set forth. 25 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $$25.00 be paid 26 27 to H. Casdoza Sloan, as and for his commission for the negotiating 28 of the sale of said real property to Rexford Brandt and Joan Irving 29 Brandt, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and •30 reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker 31 being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach. 32 2 WHEREAS,REXFORD BRANDT and JOAN IRVING BRANDT, husband 3 and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the 4 sum of $250.00 for Lot 5, Block 333. Corona del Mar, in the City 5 of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 6 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; 7 and 8 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price 9 as and for the purchase p price of said lot; and 10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach 11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said 12 property be sold for the said sum of $250.00; and 13 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate 14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property 15 above described. 16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be 17 sold to the said Rexford Brandt and Joan Irving Brandt, husband and 18 wife, for the sum of $250.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, 19 1 subject to the second half of the taxes for the fiscal year 1940- 20 41, and unpaid improvement assessments of record.
