RESOLUTION N4 4
1 WHEREAS, LEE 0. POTEET and ETHEL POTEET, have this day
2 offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT (EACH, the sum of 1
� 75.00 for Lot
3 81 Block 325, Lancaster Addition in the City of Newport Beach, as
4 shown on a Ma recorded in Book
Map 5, page 14 of Miscellaneous Maps,

records of Orange County, California; and
6
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
7
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
8
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
10
property be sold for the said sum of $175.00; and
11
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13
above described.

NOW9 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
15
sold to the said Lee 0. Poteet and Ethel Poteet, husband and wife,
16
for the sum of $175.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject
17
to the taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42 and unpaid improvement
18
assessments of record. Also subject to conditions, restrictions
19
and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are
20
hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a deed for
21
said property to the said parties upon receipt of the considerttior
22
above set forth.

24 I hereby certify that the aboge and foregoing Resolution
25 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
26 the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
27 held on the 28th day of April, 1941, by the following vote, to -wit]
