WHEREAS, ONA C. FIELD, a widow, has this day offered to

the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $75.00 for Lot 12, Block
5
6439 Corona del Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a
6
Map recorded in Book 39 pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Paps,
7
records of Orange County, California; and
8
:IHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adoquate price
9
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10
AREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of p75.00; and
13
vHEREAS9 the price offered is just, fair and adequat4
14
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15
above described.

dO119 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17
sold to the said Ona C. Field, a widow, as her separate property,
18
for the sum of $75.009 free and clear of all encumbrances, subject
19
to the taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42 and unpaid improvement
20
assessments of record. Also subject to conditions restrictions
21
and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are
22
hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a deed for
23
said property to the said party upon receipt of the consideration
24
above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $15.75 be
26
paid to Hal Will Smith, as and for his commission for the
27
negotiating of the sale of said real property to Ona C. Field, a
28
widow, as her separate property, said sum being a fair and
29
reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale and said broker
30
being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby ceVti£y that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at.,.a regular meeting thereof held on
the 5th day of Play, 1g41 by the following vote, to -wit:
