MANGOLD, 4 4usband and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT 5 BEACH, the sum of $200.00 for the Northeasterly 25 feet of Lot 14, 6 and the Southwesterly 5 feet of Lot 16, Block 233, Corona del Mai, 7 in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book, g 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange 9 County, California; and 10 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price 11 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and 12 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach 13 deems.that it is for the best interests of said City that said 14 property be sold for the said sum of $200.00; and 15 I7MREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate 1611 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property 17 above described. 18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be 19 sold to the said Martin A. Mangold and Jeraldine N. Mangold, 20 husband and wife, for the sum of $200.00; free and clear of all 21 encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42 22 and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also subject to 23 conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor 24 and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute 25 and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon 26 receipt of the consideration above set forth. 27 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $50.00 be paid 28 to Ralph P. Maskey, as and for his commission for the negotiating 29 of the sale of said real property to Martin A. Mangold and 30 Jeraldine N.
