a3II WHEREAS, LILY ZEZNER a married woman, and FRANCELLA L.
4 GESELL /, a married woman, have this day offered to the CITY OF
5 NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $100.00 for Lots 12, 14, 16 and 18,
6 Block 636, Corona del Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown
7 on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps,
8 records of Orange County, California; and
9 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
10 as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
11 P7HEi REAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
12 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
13 property be sold for the said sum of $100.00; and
14 TnEMEAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
15 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
1611 above described.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
18 sold to the said Lily Zeiner, a married,woman, and Francella L.
19 Gesell, married woman, for the sum of $100.00, free and clear of
20 all encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42
21 and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also subject to
22 conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor
23 and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
24 and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upon
25 receipt of the consideration above set forth.
26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $25.00 be paid
27 to Ralph P. Maskey, as and for his commission for the negotiating
28 of the sale of said real property to Lily Zeiner and Francella L.
29 Gesell., mother and daughter, as joint tenants, said sum being a
30 fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and
31 said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 5th day of May, 1941, by the following vote, to -wit:
