3 t9HEREAS, ALMA L. LARIMER, a single woman, has this day
4 offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $175.00 for Lots
5 9 and 11, Block 537, Corona del Mar, in the City of Newport Beach,
6 as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscell-
7 aneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
8' WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9 as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of, the City of Newport Beach
11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said '
12 property be sold for the said sum of 175.00; and
13 WHEREAS, the price offered is 'just, fair and adequate
14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property

1611 NOWT THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be

71� sold to the said Alma L. Larimer, a single woman, for the sum of
X175.001 free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the taxes
19 for the fiscal year 1941 -42 and unpaid improvement assessments of
20 record. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations
21 of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and
22I1directe d to execute and deliver a deed for said property to the
2311 said party upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.
2411 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $43.75 be paid

to F. L. Andrews, as and for his commission for the negotiating of
26 the sale of said real property to Alma L. Larimer, a single woman,
27 as her separate property, said sum being a fair and reasonable
28 commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker being a
29 licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the aboge and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
held on the 19th day of Allay, 1941 by the following vote, to -wit:
