RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, CHARLES F. HAMMOND, a si gle man, has this

day offered to the CITY OF N97PORT BEACH, the sum of $150.00
4
for Lot 2, Block 741, CORONA DEL MAR, in the City of Newport
5
Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book.3 pages 41 and 42 of
6
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
7
WHEREAS, the said price is a•fair and adequate price
8
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
9
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
10
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
11
property be sold for the said sum of $150.00; and

1 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
13
and is not disproportionate to the.real value of the property
14
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17
sold to the said Charles F. Hammond, a single man, for the sum of
18
$150.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the
19
taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42, and unpaid improvement
20
assessments of record. Also subject to conditions, restrictions
21
and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are
22
hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a deed
23
for said property to the said party upon receipt of the
24
consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of .$37.50 be
26
paid to Gerald W. Ritchie, as and for his commission for the
27
negotiating of the sale of said real property to Charles.F.
28
Hammond, a single man, as his separate property, said sum being
29
a fair and reasonable commission to be all6wed in said sale, and
30
said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport
31
Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular
meeting thereof held on the 19th day of May, 1941, by the
following vote, to -wit:
