WHEREAS SUSAN C. HUFK AT?
_, a married woman, has this

day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $100.00
5
for Lot 12, Block 538, Corona del Mar, in the City of Newport
6
Beach, as shown on a Ka recorded in Book
p 3, pages 41 and 42 of
7
Miscellaneous Naps, records of Orange County, California; and
8
"EMREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9
as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10
WHEREAS, the Ci ty Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of $100.00; and
13
l�r'HEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15
above described.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17
sold to the said Susan C. Huffman, a married woman, for the sum
18
of $100.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the
19
taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42 and unpaid improvement assessment
20
of record. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reserva-
21
tions of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorize
22
and directed to execute and deliver a deed for said property to
23
the said party upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.
24
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of 425.00 be paid
25
to G. W. Ritchie, as and for his commission for the negotiating
26
of the sale of said real property to Susan C. Huffman, a married
27
woman, said sum being a fair and reasonable commission to be
28
allowed in said sale, and said broker being a licensed realtor
29
of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
held on the 19th day of May,.1941, by the following vote, to -wit:
