3 WHEREAS, DESt'OND H. STOVALL and BERNICE F. STOVALL,
4 husband and wife, have this day offered to the CITY CF N- 11,PORT
5 BEACH, the sum of $100.00 for Lot 14, Block 629, Corona del Mar,
in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book

7 3, pages 41 and 42 of miscellaneous ma;?s, records of Orange
8 County, California; and
9 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
10 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of $100.00; and
13
14 IM REAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
15 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
16 above described.
17 d0l, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
18 sold to the said Desmond H. Stovall and Bernice F. Stovall, husban
19 and wife, for the sum of $100.00, free and clear of all encumbranc
20 subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42 and unpaid
21 improve:ent assessments of record. Also subject to conditions,
and
22 restrictionsend reservations of record. The Mayor,the City Clerk
23 are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a deed
24 for said property to the said parties upon receipt of the
25 consideration above set forth.
26 BE IT FURTi_.R RESOLVED: That the sera of $25.00 be paid
27 to Earl W. Stanley, as and for ;:is commission for the negotiating
28 of the sale of said real property to Desezond H. Stovall and
lb 29 3ernice F. Stovall, is wife, as joint tenants, said sum being
30 a fair and reasonable comission to be allowed in said sale and
31 said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.
