3 1,7HEREAS, HARRY H. HUGO, a married man, has this day
4 offered to the CITY OF INTWPORT BEACH, the sum of $150.00 for Lot
5 19 and the Southwesterly one —half of Lot 20, Block 442, Corona del
6 Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Lap recorded in
7 Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Mriscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
8 County, California; and
9 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
10 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
11 ',WL REAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
12 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
13 property be sold for the said sum of $150.00; and
14 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate and
15 is not disproportionate to the real value of the property above
16 described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
18 isold to the said Harry H. Hugo, a : iarried man, for the sum of
19
x$150.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the taxes
i
20!for the fiscal year 1941 -42 and unpaid improvement assessments of
22jrecord. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations
22
of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and
23
directed to execute and deliver a deed for said property to the
24
said party upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER, RESOLV 3 : That the sum of 437,50 be paid
26
to G. W. Ritchie, as and for his commission for the negotiating of
27
the sale of said real property to Harry H. Hugo, a married man,
28
said sum being a fair and reasonable co;a;::ission to be allowed in
29
said sale, and said broker beir_g a licensed realtor of the City
30
of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution

was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of

the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
