• 3 '�- .MREAS, CLIVE E. DE ,,'ITT and LILLAH B. DE 1'dITT, husband
4 and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the
5 sum of $75.00 for Lot 3, Block 337, Corona del Mar, in the City of
6 Newport Beach, as shown on a lla.p recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and
7 42 of ifiscellaneous Maps, records ofOrange County, California; and
8 "HEREAS the said price is a fair and adequate price
9 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10 49HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12 property be sold for the said sum of $75.00; and
13 19IEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15 above described.
16 11049, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17 sold to the said Clive E. De Witt and Lillah B. De Witt, husband
18
and wife, for the sum of X75,00, free and clear of all encumbrances,
19 subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42 and unpaid
20 improvement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions,
21 restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
22
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver
23
a deed for said property to the said parties upon receipt of the
24 consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of X15.75 be paid
26
to Ralph P. 1,:askey, as and for his cocunission for the nee-otiating
27
of the sale of said real property to Clive E. De Stitt and Lillali B.
28
. De Witt, his wife, as joint tenants, said eum being a fair and
29
reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
30
being a licensed re alt or of the City of 11ewport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
the 2nd day of June, 1941, by the following vote, to-wit:
