3 WHEREAS, CHESTER M. KLINE and PANSY T. KLINE, husband and
4 wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEUPORT BEACH, the sum
5 of $350.00 for Lots 25 and 30, Block 240, Corona del Mar, in the
6 City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages
7 41 and 42 of wiiscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
8 California; and
9 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
10 as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
12 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
13 property be sold for the said sum of $350.00; and
14 'sJHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
15 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
16 above described.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
18 sold to the said Chester 11. Kline and Pansy T. Kline, husband and
19 wife, for the sum of $350.00, free and clear of all encumbrances,
20 subject to the taxes for the fiscal ye ar 1941 -42 and unpaid
21 i ')rovement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions,
22 restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
23 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a
24 deed for said property to the said parties upon receipt of the
25 consideration above set forth.
26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $87.50 be paid
27 to F. L. Andrews, as and for his com.,aission for the negotiating of
28 the sale of said real property to Chester 1:. Kline and Pansy T.
29 Kline, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
30 reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
31 being a licensed realtor of the City of Her+:port 3each.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
2nd day of June, 1941, by the following vote, to -wit:
