3 WHEREAS, ARTHUR 3. FORST,R and ALICE AUBaEY FORSTER,
4 husband and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT
5 BEACH the sum of $300.00 for Lot 21, Block 643; and Lot 1, Block
6 737, all in Corona del Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown
7 on a ;;yap recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous :daps,
8 records of Orange County, California; and
9 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
10 as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
12 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
13 property be sold for the said sum of :;300.00; and
14 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
15 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
16 above described.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
18 sold to the said Arthur B. Forster and Alice Aubrey Foster, husband
19 and wife, for the sum of $300.00; free and clear of all encumbrances
20 subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 141 -42 and unpaid
21 improvement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions,
22 restrictions and reservations of record. The grayer and City Clerk
23 are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a deed
24 for said property to the said parties upon receipt of the
25 consideration above set forth.
26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of
X75.00 be paid
27 c G. W. Ritchie, as and for his commission for the negotiating of
28 he sale of said real property to Arthur B. Forster and Alice Aubrey
29 oster, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
30 easonable commission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
31 eing a licensed realtor of the City of Newport Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution

was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of

the City of Nerport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
4
the 2nd day of June, =941, by the following vote, to -wit:
