3 dIiEREAS, TI1iJR fAP1 E. ;BELLS and ESTELLE F. WELLS, husband
4 and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEVTPORT BEACH, the
5 sum of $225.00 for Lots 19 and 21, Block 442, Corona del Isar, in
6 the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Lap recorded in Book 3,
7 pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
8 California; and
9 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
10 as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
11 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
12 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
13 property be sold for the said sum of ;225.00; and
14 WHEREAS, the price of�red is just, fair and adequate
15 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
16 above described.
17 NOAV, T-11EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
18 sold to the said Thurman E. Wells and Estelle F. Wells, husband and
19 wife, for the stun of $225.00, free and clear of all encuiiiorances,
20 subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42 and unpaid
21 improvement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions,
221restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
23 {Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a
24 deed for said property to the said parties upon receipt of the
25 consideration above set forth.
26 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $$56.25 be paid
27 to Ralph P. Maskey, as and for his commission for the negotiating
28 of the sale of said real property to Thurman E. ?dells and Estelle
• 29 Wells, his wife, as joint tenants, said sum being a fair and
30 easonable com_sission to be allowed in said sale, and said broker
31 peing a licensed realtor of the City of I'ewport Beach.
