RESOLUTION
1 WHEREAS, JOHN SMOLTZ and KATIE SMOLTZ, husband and wife,
2, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of
3 $350.00 for Lots 1 and 2, Block 329, Lancaster Addition, inthe_'City
4 of Newport Beach as shown on a Ma recorded in Book "14 of
P P 5 � page

Miscellaneous Maps, records of. Orange County, California; and
6 WHEREAS, the said price~ is a fair and adequat6 price
7l1as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9 deems that it is for the beat interest of said City that said
10 property be sold for the said sum of $350.00; and

WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED. That said property be
15
sold to the said John Smoltz and Katie Smoltz, husband and wife, as
16 joint tenants, for the sum of $350.00, free and clear of all encumb-
17
rances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42. Also
181subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The
19
Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
20
execute and deliver a deed for said property to the said parties upo:
21
receipt of the consideration above set forth.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
23
as duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the
24
City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held
25
n the 16th day of June, 1941, by the following vote, to -wit:
