1 RESOLUTION NO.

3 A Grant of Easement dated the day of
4 1941, from the Southern Pacific Railroad Company, a corporation,
5 and Southern Pacific Company, a corporation, to the City of
6 Newport Beach, a Municipal corporation of the State of California,
7 granting to said City of Newport Beach, its successors and assigns,
g the right to construct and maintain a street upon and across that
9 certain piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the
10 City of Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, being
11 that portion of the 100 foot strip of land described in the deed
12 from A. J. Crockshank, et al., as Trustees, to the Southern
13 Pacific Railroad Company, a corporation, recorded October 14th,
14 1921, in Hook 405, page 250 of Deeds, Records of said County, and
15 more particularly described as follows, to -wit:

BEGINNING at a point in the westerly line of said

100 foot strip of land distant 8.83 feet Southerly
measured along said westerly line from the most

northerly corner of Lot 13, Block 231, as shown
upon a map of Lake Tract, recorded in Hook 4, page

13 of Miscellaneous Laps, Records of said County;
thence North 890 15' 30" East, 70.02 feet to an

intersection with the westerly line of Central
Avenue, as described in Parcel No. 2 in the deed

from the Southern Pacific Railroad Company, et al.
to the City of Newport Beach, recorded November 20,

1935, in Hook 792, page 25 of Official Records of
said County, a radial line to said westerly line of

Central Avenue from said intersection bears North
870 511 23" East; thence Northerly along said

westerly line of Central Avenue along a curve con -
cave to the East and having a radius of 2,844.83

feet, an arc distance of 50.00 feet to a point;
thence South 890 151 30° Yiest, 70.00 feet to a

point in the westerly line of said 100 foot strip
of land from which a radial line bears North 880

52' 220 East; thence Southerly along the westerly
line of said 100 foot strip of land along a curve

concave to the East and having a radius of 2,914.83
feet, an arc distance of 50.00 feet to the point of

beginning,

was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach,
