1 RESOLUTION NO �- d 6
2 WHEREAS, GERALD W, RITCHIE and DAVID D. GORDON, have
3 this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $1450,00
411for Lot 1, Block "E ", Tract 323, Corona del Mar, in the City of
5I +Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 14, pages 40 and
61141 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
7 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
8 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
9 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Bea6�h
10 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
11 property be sold for the said sum of $1450.00; and
12 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
13 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
1411 above described.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
16 sold to the said Gerald W. Ritchie and David D. Gordon, for the
17 sum of $1450.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to
18 the taxes for the fiscal year 1941 --42, and unpaid improvement
19 assessments of record. Also subject to conditions, restrictions
20 and reservations of record, The Mayor and the City Clerk are
21 hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a deed for
22 said property to the said. parties upon receipt of the consideration
23 above set forth.
24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $362.50 be
25 paid to Gerald W. Ritchie, as and for his commission for the
26 negotiating of the sale of said real property to Gerald W. Ritchie
27 and David D. Gordon, each an undivided half interest, said sum
28 being a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed in said sale,
29 and said broker being a licensed realtor of the City of Newport
30 Beach.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed Ord adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
4th day of August, 1541, by the following vote, to —wit:
