WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport
Beach, California, did heretofore instruct the City DiEineer
of said City to procure and prepare a written report, pur-
suant to Sections 2 and 3 of t; ^.e "Special Assessment invest -
i a-ion, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931," as
amerded, and thereafter the said City Council has by iesol-
ution 1. 2m7"_ deter-mined in general the nature, location
and extent of the proposed acquisition of certa'_n property
for the +.videnin�_ of Central Avenue in said City; also tTen-
erally defined the boundaries or extent of the district or
lands to be specially assessed to pay the cost thersof, or any
part of such cost, and defined the statute under which it is
proposed to conduct the proposed proceedin;;s; and that there-
after the City EnZineer of said City oresented to t'lis City
Council the sa'T.d. written report;

Engineer and herein referred to, is hereby* approved, and
