1 WHEREAS, WILLIAM E. DAVIS, has this day offered to the
2 CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $150.00 for Lot 8, Block 530,
3 Lancaster Addition, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a
4 Map recorded in Book 5, page 14 of I ✓.iscellaneous Maps, records of
5 Orange County, California; and
6 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
7 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
10 property be sold for the said sum of $150.00; and
11 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13 above described.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
15 sold to the said William E. Davis, for the sum of $150.00, free
16 and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the taxes for the fiscal
17 year 1941 -42. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and
18 reservations of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
19 authorized and directed to execute and deliver a deed for said
20 property to the said party upon receipt of the consideration above
21 set forth.
22 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
23 as duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
24 the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
25 eld on the 18th day of August, 1941, by the following vote, to -wit
