WHEREAS, ISABEL ATKINSON, a married woman, has this

day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $350.00

for Lots 8 and 9 and the SWly 5 feet of Lot 10, Block 19,
5
First Addition to Newport Heights, in the City of Newport Beach,
6
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4 page 94 of Miscellaneous
7
Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
8
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9
as,and for the purchase price of said lots;and
10
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12
property be sold for the said sum of $350.00; and
13
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14
and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17
sold to the said Isabel Atkinson, a married woman, for the sum
18
of $350.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the
19
taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42, Also subject to conditiong,
20
restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
21
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver
22
a deed for said property to the said party upon receipt of the
23
consideration above set forth.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the sum of $35.00 be
25
paid to Raymond C. Parker, as and for his commission for the
26
negotiating of the sale of said real property to Isabel Atkinson,
27
a married woman, said sum being a fair and reasonable commission
28
to be allowed in said sale, and said broker being a licensed
it 29
realtor of the City of Newport Beahh.

I hereby certify that the above and foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular
meeting thereof held on the 8th day of September, 1941, by the
