WHEREAS, a certain Quitclaim Deed dated the 6th day of
October, 1941 from the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, a Municipal Corpor-
ation of the sixth class, to EDITH B. TATE, a widow, quitclaiming
releasing and remising to said Edith B. Tate, all that certain
real property situated in the City of Newport Bead, County of
Orange, State of California, and more particularly described
as follows:
Lots 15 and 19, Block 431, Corona del Mar as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and
42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California.
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach; ane
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the consideration
offered for said Quitclaim deed is fair, just and adequate and not
disproportionate to the actual value of the interest which the
City of Newport Beach has in and to said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach de
that it is for the best interests of said City of Newport Beach
that said Quitclaim deed be executed in favor of Edith B. Tate,
by the Mayor and City Clerk of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby direct
and authorized to execute said Quitclaim deed on behalf of the C1
of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is instructed to deliver the
same to Edith B. Tate.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
6th day of October, 1941, by the following vote, t:
