1 WHEREAS, FREDERIC W. EASTMAN, a single man, has this day
2 offered to the CITY OF NrWPORT BEACH, the sum of $175.00 for Lot
• 3 12, Block 329, Lancaster Additton, in the City of Newport Beach,
4 as shown on a Map recorded in Book
5, page 14 of Miscellaneous
5 Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
6 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
7 as and for the
purchase price of said lot; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
10 be sold for the said sum of $1
property 75.00; and
11 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13 above described.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
15 sold to the said Frederic W. Eastman, a single man, for the sum
16 of $175.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the
17
taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42. Also subject to conditions,
18 restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
19 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a
20
deed for said property to the said party upon receipt of the
21
consideration above set forth.
22 T hereby certify that the above and .foregoing Resolution
23
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council. of
24
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
25
3rd day of November, 1941, by the following vote, to -wit:
