1 WHEREAS, WFSLEY W. CORBIN and LEATHA E. CORBIN, have
2 this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $160.00
3 for Lot 5, Block 741, Corona del Mar, in the City of Newport Beach
4 as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscell-
5 aneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
6 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
7 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
8 !rMREAS, the City Council. of the City of Newport Beach
9 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
10 property be sold for the said sum of $160.00; and
11 WHEREAS, the price offered is dust, fair and adequate
12 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13 above described.
14 NOW, THEREFORE., BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
15 sold to the said Wesley W. Corbin and Leatha E. Corbin, husband
16 and wife, for the sum of $160.00, free and clear of all encumbrane s,
17 subject to the taxes for the fiscal. year 1941 -42 and unpaid
18 improvement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions,
19 restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
20 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a
21 deed for said property to the said parties upon receipt of the
22 consideration above set forth.
23 I hereby certify that the above and. foregoing Resolution
24 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
25 the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
26 3rd day of November, 1941, by the following vote, to -wit:
