13 City and the inhabitants thereof that said agreement be executed,

15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
16 Clerk of the City of Newper tBeach be, and they are hereby directed,
17 authorized and instructed to execute said agreement in the name of,
I8 and on behalf of the city cf Newport Beach, and that the City Clerk
19 deliver a duly executed copy thereof to the Bondholder therein
20 named.
21 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
22 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
23 the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
24 17th day of November, 1941, by the following vote, to -wit:

WHEREAS,
there has this day been presented to the City

Council of the
City of Newport Beach a certain agreement affecting
5
certain bonds
issued under the Improvement Bond Act of 1915,
6
designated Series "a", Resolution No. 370; an d
7
WHEREAS,
in said agreement JEVNE S. ROHMAN of Los Angeles,
8
California, is
therein named "Bondholder ", and the City of
9
Newport Beach,
a municipal corporation, is therein named "City ";
10
and
11
WHEREAS,
it satisfactorily eipearing to the City Council of
12
the City of Newport Beach that it is for the best interests of said
13 City and the inhabitants thereof that said agreement be executed,
14
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
16 Clerk of the City of Newper tBeach be, and they are hereby directed,
17 authorized and instructed to execute said agreement in the name of,
