• 3 WHERFA9, GERALD Til. RITCHIE, a married man, has this day
4 offered to the CT.TY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of 0200.00 for Lot 22
5 Block 541, Corona del. Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, as shown
6 on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellaneous Naps,
7 records of Orange County, California; and
8 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12 property be sold for the said sum of $200.00; and
13 WHERFAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15 above described.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17 sold. to the said Gerald W. Ritchie, a married man, for the sum
18 of 0200.00, free and clear of all encumbrances, subject to the
19 taxes for the fiscal year 1941 -42 and unpaid improvement asspssment
20 of record. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and re?prva-
21 tions of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk ore hereby authorize
22 and directed to execute and deliver a deed for said property to
23 the saidnarty upon receipt of the consideration above net forth.
24 BE IT FURTHER RF90LVFD: That the sum of $50.00 be paid
25 to G. 19. Ritchie, as and for his commission for the negotisti.na
26 of the sale of said real property to Gerald 11. Ritchie, a married.
27 man, said sum being a fair and reasonable commission to be allowed,
28 in said sale, and said broker being a licensed realtor of the City
29 of Newport Beach.
30 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Pesoluti.on
31 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council_ of
