RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, by virtue of Traffic Ordinance No. J q c °and
amendments thereto, of the city of Newport Beach, the City Council
of the city of Newport Beach is authorized to prohibit and /or
limit parking of automobiles and other vehicles on certain streets
and alleys in the city of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, under said Ordinance No. ��' the City
Council of the city of Newport Beach is authorized to prohibit
and /or limit parking of automobiles and other vehicles on said
streets and alleys by Resolution duly passed by said City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That parking of
automobiles and other vehicles on the streets and alleys of said
City of Newport Beach hereinafter named, shall be limited and /or
prohibited as shown hereafter, and the Chief of Police of the
City of Newport Beach is authorized, directed and instructed to
do all necessary painting of curbs of said streets and alleys in
the colors hereinafter specified and to post all necessary and
appropriate signs in and along said streets and alleys, which
signs shall clearly indicate the fact that parking is.either
limited or prohibited along the streets and alleys hereinafter
mentioned.
WASHINGTON STREET
Parking of automobiles and other vehicles is prohibited
along the northwesterly and southeasterly sides of Washington
Street, between Central Avenue and the Ocean Front sidewalk, and
the curbs of said street.shall be painted red to indicate said
prohibited parking.'
PALIA STREET t
Parking of automobiles and other vehicles shall be
prohibited along the southeasterly curb of Palm Street between

Central Avenue and the Ocean Font sidewalk, and parking of
automobiles and other vehicles shall be prohibited along the
Northeasterly curb of Palm Street between the alley and the
Ocean Front sidewalk, said alley being southerly of Central
Avenue, and the curbs of said street shall be painted red to

indicate said prohibited parking.
PALM STREET ))��'
There is hereby established a 1 � ^e fo the
loading and unloading of passengers and freight, on the
Northwesterly side of Palm Street between the alley lying
Northerly of the Ocean Front sidewalk and Central Avenue, and the
curb shall be painted yellow to indicate such loading zone.
The Chief of Police of the City of Newpo ^t Beach is
hereby authorized and instructed to erect and construct, or
cause to be erected and constructed, all necessary signs showing
the parking restrictions on the streets hereinbefore mentioned
and described.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
land regularly passed by the City Council of the city of Newport
Beach at a. regular meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of June,
119410 by the following vote, to. -wit:
