RESOLUTION N0, k"
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the city of Newport Beach a certain Conditional Sale
Contract, wherein D. K. Blue is the Seller, and the City of Newport
Beach is the purchaser, said contract being dated January 5, 1942;
and
WHEREAS, said contract provides that the Seller sells to
Purchaser one new Oldsmobile sedan, complete with seat covers,
said automobile bearing Serial No. 68- 11307, Motor No. L- 461579,
for the sum of $1499.42; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said
automobile be purchased upon the terms and conditions and for the
consideration in said contract set forth.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said contract in
the name of and on behalf of the city of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
5th day of January, 1942, by the follower vo e, to -wit:
