RESOLUTION N0,
WHEREAS, one KATHLEEN BARLOW, a widow, offered to the
City of Newport Beach the sum of 0250.00 for Lot 27, Block "B ",
Tract No. 673, Corona Del Mar, as shown on a Map recorded in
Book 20, pages 17 and 18 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California; and
WHEREAS, the City of NewoortBeach did by Resolution
No. 2270, duly passed and adopted, accept said offer of Kathleen
Barlow, a widow; and
WHEREAS, said Kathleen Barlow has only paid on account
of the purchase price aforesaid, the sum of $25.00, and has wholly
failed, neglected and refused to pay the balance of $225.00,
although demand has been made upon her on numerous occasions to
pay the balance due as aforesaid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said Resolution
INo. 2270 aforesaid, be and the same is hereby rescinded and de-
clared of no further force or effect for any purpose whatever.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sale of said property
heretofore mentioned to the said Kathleen Barlow be, and the
same is hereby cancelled as of this date, and the moneys heretofore
paid thereon by the said Kathleen Barlow to the City of Newport
Beach, are hereby declared to be forfeited to said City of Newport
Beach for the failure of said Kathleen Barlow to pay the balance
of said purchase price aforesaid.
