WHEREAS, a certain Quitclaim Deed dated the 2nd day of
March, 1942, from the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, a municipal corpora-
tion of the sixth class to JACK L. HOPKINS, quitclaiming, releas-
ing and remising to said Jack L. Hopkins all that certain real
property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of Orange,
State of California, and more particularly described as follows:
Los 12, Block °M °, Seashore Colony Tract, as shown
on a Map recorded in Book 7, page 25 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California
was presented to the City Council of the City of Newport Beach;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems that the consideration
offered for said Quitclaim Deed is fair, dust and adequate and not
disproportionate to the actual value of the interest which the
City of Newport Beach has in and to said property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said City of Newport
Beach that said Quitclaim Deed be executed in favor of Jack L.
Hopkins by the Mayor and City Clerk of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach, be and they are hereby direc
and authorized to execute said Quitclaim deed on behalf of the
City of Newport Beach, and the City Clerk is instructed to
Ideliver the same to Jack L. Hopkins.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
Iwas duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
