3 WHEREAS, HARVEY NELSON and FLORA NELSON, husband and
4 wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum
5 of $150.00 for Lot 9, Block 335, Corona del Mar, in the City of
6 Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and
7 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; an
8 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
9 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
11 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
12 property be sold for the said sum of $150.00; and
13 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
14 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
15 above described.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
17 sold to the said Harvey Nelson and Flora Nelson, husband and wife,
18 for the sum of $150.00, subject to the second half of the taxes
19 for the fiscal year 1941 -42 and unpaid improvement assessments of
20 record. Also subject to conditions, restrictions and reservations
21 of record. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and
22 directed to execute and deliver a deed for said property to the
23 said parties upon receipt of the consideration above set forth.
24 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
25 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
26 the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
27 2nd day of March, 1942 by the following vote, to -wit:
