RESOLUTION NO.
1 WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
2 Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain agreement affecting
3 certain bonds issued under the Improvement Bond Act of 1915,
4 designated Series "D ", Resolution No. 304; and
5 WHEREAS, in said agreement ERNEST MARQUARDT of Los
6 Angeles, California, is therein named "Bondholder ", and the City
7 of Newport Beach, a municipal corporation, is therein named
8 "City "; and
9 WHEREAS, it satisfactorily appearing to the City Council
10 of the City of Newport Beach that it is for the best interests of
11 said City and the inhabitants thereof that said agreement be
12 executed.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
14 Clerk of the City of Newport Beach, be and they are hereby
15 directed, authorized and instructed to execute said agreement in
16 the name of, and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach, and that
17 the City Clerk deliter a duly executed copy thereof to the Bond -
18 holder therein named.
19 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
20 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
21 the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
22 2nd day of March, 1942, by the following vote, to -wit:
