WHEREAS, it appearing by the account of J. A. Gant,
City Auditor of the City of Newport Beach, that all that certaill
real property situated in the City of Newport Beach, County of
Orange, State of California, and more particularly described as
follows, to -wit:

belongs to the City of Newport Beach, and that the fee title
thereof is now in the City of Newport Beach; and
WHEREAS, it likewise appearing that the said J. A. Gant
has requested that the City of Newport Beach order the taxes
cancelled on the assessment rolls of the City of Newport Beach,
on the property herein mentioned; and
WHEREAS, it further appearing that the title to said
property is now in the City of Newport Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Auditor
and Tax Collector of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are
hereby authorized, directed and instructed to cancel all of said
taxes on the real property herein mentioned, on the assessment
rolls of the City of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
held on the 4th day of March, 1942, by the following vote, to -wit:

consent to the cancellation of said taxes.

Beach, and the fee title thereof is now vested in the City of
Newport Beach.
