RESOLUTION NO.
1 WHEREAS, CHESTER BICKEL, a single man, has this day
Z offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the sum of $200.00 for Lot
3 S, Block 443, Corona del Mar, in the City of Newport Beach, as
4 shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscellan-
y eous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and
6 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
7 as and for the purchase price of said lot; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9 deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
10 property be sold for the said sum of $200.00; and
11 WHEREAS, the price offered is Just, fair and adequate
12 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13 above described.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
15 sold to the said Chester Bickel, a single man, as his separate
16 property, for the sum of $200.00, free and clear of all encumbran-
17 ces, subject to the second half of the taxes for the Fiscal year
18 1941 -42 and unpaid improvement assessments of record. Also subjec
19 to conditions, restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor
20 and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute
21 and deliver a deed for said property to the said party upon
ZZ receipt of the consideration above set forth.
23 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
24 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
25 the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on
26 the 6th day of April, 1942, by the following vote, to -wit:
