DENNISON and MABEL DENNISON, husband and wife, as joint tenants and owners of Lots 2 and 3, Block 532, Canal Section, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 4, page 98 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, have this day deeded to the City of Newport Beach said described property with the understanding and agreement that the City of Newport Beach would deed to them Lot 19, Block 332, Corona del Ma as shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, pages 41 and 42 of Miscell- aneous Maps, records of Orange County, California; and WHEREAS, it appears that said properties are of equal market value and that said Lots 2 and 3, Block 532, Canal Section are of greater benefit and use to the City of Newport Beach and that it is for the best interests and benefit of said City of Newport Beach that said exchange be made. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Newport Beach make, execute and deliver to the said C. F. Dennison and Mabel Dennison, husband and wife, a corporation grant deed covering Lot 19, Block 332, Corona del Mar above described, in exchange for said Lots 2 and 3, Block 432, Canal Section. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the market value of said properties is equal and that it is for the best interests and benefit of said City that said exchange be made and that the City of Newport Beach receive Lots 2 and 3, Block 432, Canal Section, aforesaid. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the consideration for sai exchange of properties is in all respects fair, just and adequate. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directed, instructed and authorized to execute said deed in the name of and on behalf of the City of Newport Beach. 1 2 • 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolutior was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 30th day of April, 1942, by the following vote, to -wit AYES, COUNCILMEN: GORDON, ALLEN, ISBELL, REED, HALL.
