1 RESOLUTION N0,

3 WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
4 Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Agreement dated the
5 day of June, 1942, wherein the City of Newport Beach is
6 referred to as the "City" and the Lido Isle Community Association
7 is referred to as the "Association "; and
8 WHEREAS, said agreement provides that that certain
9 agreement of lease dated November 21, 1938, between the above
10 named parties, be amended by striking therefrom the real property
11 therein described as Parcel "E ", which said real property is
12 more particularly described in the above mentioned agreement; and
13 WHEREAS, it is the opinion and judgment of the City Council
14 of the City of Newport Beach that it is for the beat interests of
15 said city that said Agreement of Lease of date November 21, 1938,
16 be amended as above set forth, and that the benefits which the
17 city will receive therefrom are sufficient consideration for its

amendment.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and
20
City Clerk of the city of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
21
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said Agreement in
22
the name of and on behalf of the City of NewportBeach, and the
23
City Clerk is instructed to deliver a duly executed copy thereof
24
to the Lido Isle Community Association,
25
26 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
27 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
28 the city of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
