RESOLUTION N0.
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newoort Beach a license agreement dated
the 20th day of July, 1942, wherein the City of Newport Beach is
the party of the first part, and George C. Hiner, is the party
of the second part; and
WHEREAS, said license agreement provides that in
consideration of the sum of $1100.00, payable as in said license
agreement set forth, the first party grants to the second party,
upon the terms and conditions therein set forth, the right to
sell live bait upon the pier opposite McFadden Place in the city
of Newport Beach, for the term of three years; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the beet interests of said city that said
license agreement be granted to the party of the second part.
NOW, THEREFORE, i3E IT RESOLvED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby directed
authorized and instructed to execute said license agreement in the
name of, and on behalf of the City of Newoort Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City off Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
held on the 20th day of July, 1942, by the following vote:
