RESOLUTION NO. A0
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
did by resolution fix the salaries and wages of various employees
of the city of Newport Beach for the fiscal year 1942 -1943; and
WHEREAS, it now becomes necessary to increase the wages
of various of said employees mentioned in said resolution because
of higher living conditions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach that the wages and salaries of certain
employees of the city of Newport Beach in this resolution mentioned
be fixed in accordance with this resolution; and r
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said resolution No.1
aforesaid of the City of Newport Beach, be and the same is hereby
amended= in so far as it fixes the salaries or wages of the
employees of the City of Newport Beach hereinafter mentioned, but
as to the balance of the employees of said city mentioned in said

shall remain the same as fixed in said Resolution No. � ,.eta

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following employees of
the city of Newport Beach shall receive hereafter the wages and
salaries hereinafter fixed, which wages or salaries are set
opposite their respective names, and that they shall receive said
wages and salaries hereinafter stated for the balance of the
fiscal year 1942 -1943, commencing as of the 18th day of August,
1942.
The wages and salaries of said employees herein mentioned
are as follows, to -writ:
