WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Conditional Sales
Contract dated August 17, 1942, between Fred M. Jordan as Seller
and the City of Newport Beach as Purchaser; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provides that the Purchaser
purchases from the Seller one certain 1939 Model 21 -foot Utility
Power Boat, Model No. 904, Hull No. 35477, 95 H. P. Chris -Craft
Motor, Model "% ", Series No, 7554, Custom Award No. 27E9231 for
the sum of 01250.00, upon the terms and conditions in said agree-
ment set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the city of Newport Beach
deems that it is for the best interests of said city that said
boat be purchased upon the terms and conditions set forth in said
contract.
NOW, TMEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said Conditional
Sales Contract in the name of the city of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
held on the 17th day of August, 1942, by the following vote.
