WHEREAS, JOHN W. NOREK, Jr. and ERMA L. NOREK, husband

and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the
3 sum of $500.00 for Lots 5 and 6, Block 529, Lancaster Addition,
4
in the City of Newport Beach, as shown on a Map recorded in Book
5
5, page 114 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
6
California; and
7
WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price
8
as and for the purchase price of said lots; and
9
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
10
deems that it is for the best interests of said City that said
11
property be sold for the sum of $500.00; and
12
WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
13
and is not disporportionate to the real value of the property
14
above described.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
16
sold to the said John W. Norek, Jr. and Erma L. Norek, husband and
17
wife, for the sum of $500.00, free and clear of all encumbrances,
18
subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1942 -43 and unpaid
19
improvement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions,
20
21 restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
22 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a
23 deed for said property to the said parties upon receipt of the
consideration above set forth.

25 I hereby certify that the above and foregoing Resolution
26 was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Newport Beach at an adjourned regular meeting thereof
27
