RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the
City Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain Deed of Ease-
ment dated the 3rd day of October, 1942, from the NEWPORT HARBOR
CORPORATION, a corporation, in favor of the City of Newport Beachy
a municipal corporation, wherein the said Newport Harbor Corporati,
grants to the City of Newport Beach an easement for sidewalk and
utility purposes over a strip of land situate in the City of
Newport Beach, County of Orange, State of California, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the Northerly prolongation
of the Easterly line of Fernando Street, as said street is
laid out and shown upon a map of Subdivision of Block "C ",
Newport Bay Tract, as recorded in Book 5, at page 25 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California,
distant thereon N. 150 391 E. 221.58 feet from the North-
west corner of Lot 21 of said Subdivision of Block "C ",
Newport Bay Tract; thence at right angles to said Easterly
line of said Fernando Street, S. 740 211 E. 66 feet, more
or less, to a point in a line which bears N. 510 22' 30"
W. from a point in the Westerly line of Cypress Avenue
(formerly Bay View Avenue) as said avenue is laid out and
shown upon the map of Balboa Bayside Tract recorded in
Book 4, page 78, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California, said point being distant along said
Westerly line of Cypress Avenue N. 170 161 E. 134.58 feet
from the Northeasterly corner of Lot 7 in Block 1, of
said Balboa Bayside Tract; thence S. 510 22t 30" E. along
said line 114 feet, more or less, to said Westerly line of
said Cypress Avenue; thence N. 170 16t E. along said
Westerly line 15.03 feet; thence North 510 221 30" W.
117 feet, more or less, to a line which bears S. 740 21'
E. from a point in the Northerly prolongation of the Easterly
line of Fernando Street which is N. 150 39' E. 14 feet from
the point of beginning; thence N. 740 21' W. 64 feet,
more or less, to the Northerly prolongation of the Easterly
line of Fernando Street; thence S. 15° 391 W. along said
prolongation 14 feet to the point of beginning.
WHEREUPON, Councilman ° \Ae.&d made

a motion, duly seconded by Councilman l 'tcc C'4 and
carried, that said Deed of Easement be accepted by said City of
INewaort Beach, and the Clerk instructed to record the same forthwi
(with the County Recorder of the County of Orange, State of Califor-
jnia.
