RESOLUTION NO.
1 WHEREAS, CORLISS LEONARH and JANE E. LEONARD, husband
2 and wife, have this day offered to the CITY OF NEWPORT BEACH, the
3 Isum of $250.00 for Lot 1, Block 44, Third Addition to Newport Beach
4 has shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, page 31 of Miscellaneous Maps
5 records of Orange County, California; and
6 WHEREAS, the said price is a fair and adequate price as
7 and for the purchase price of said lot; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Newport Beach
9 deems that it is for the beat interests of said City that said
10 property be sold for the said sum of $250.00; and
11 WHEREAS, the price offered is just, fair and adequate
12 and is not disproportionate to the real value of the property
13 above described.
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That said property be
15 sold to the said Corliss Leonard and Jane E. Leonard, husband and
16 wife, for the sum of $250.00, free and clear of all encumbrances,
17 subject to the taxes for the fiscal year 1942 -43 and unpaid
18 improvement assessments of record. Also subject to conditions,
19 restrictions and reservations of record. The Mayor and the City
20 Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver a
21 deed for said property to the said parties upon receipt of the
22 consideration above set forth.

25 the City of Newport Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
26 2nd day of November, 1942, by the following vote, to -wit:
