RESOLUTION NO.�
WHEREAS, there has this day been presented to the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach a certain contract dated the
let day of November, 1942, between the General Electric Company,
therein referred to as Manufacturer, and City of Newport Beach,
therein called purchaser; and
WHEREAS, said contract provides that within one (1) year
the purchaser will purchase of and from the Manufacturer not less
than $300.00 worth of Mazda Lamps and General Electric Type D
lamps, all as set forth in said contract; and
WHEREAS, it is further agreed that the following discounts
will be made from the current price schedules, as follows:
All purchases except broken packages of
less than $15 list value........... 26
Broken packages of less than $15 list
value .............................. 21%
And WHEREAS, it is the opinion and judgment of the City
Council of the City of Newport Beach that said contract be entered
Into with said Manufacturer, upon the terms and conditions therein
stated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Newport Beach be, and they are hereby
directed, authorized and instructed to execute said contract on
behalf of the city of Newport Beach.
I hereby certify that the above and foregoing resolution
was duly and regularly passed and adopted by the City Council of
the City of Ne ort Beach at a regular meeting thereof held on the
day of , 1942 by the following vote:
